Founder & Creative Director
Founded in 2018 by Valerie von Bechtolsheim, the studio is dedicated to creating emotionally resonant environments through an artistic, creative approach, anchored in a deep multi-disciplinary understanding of architecture, interior design, materials and craft.
Born in Munich, Germany, Valerie moved to the UK and now lives with her family in South-East London. She studied Furniture and Product Design at Nottingham Trent University. Following her studies, she worked at the studios of Ron Arad and Tom Dixon at Habitat, before joining Rolf Sachs, where she spent 14 years working within his conceptual design and artist studio on projects ranging from architecture and interiors to sculpture, light and installations.
With over 20 years of design experience, Valerie’s breadth of experience continues to shape the studio’s approach today.
